The truck is making a sound like the bearing was going out or a bad u-joint. I changed the Fron wheel hub and I still had the noise. Check the drive train- nothing looked loose/ no play. Any suggestions as to where I can look from here?

Can you tell if the sound is coming from the front or rear? Does the sound change when you make turns?

I have the same problem with the same year I have checked everything and cannot find any play anywhere. With mine when I turn to the left the sound goes away. Could this not be a wheel bearing? On which side? Neither have play.

You have a bad wheel bearing. If it goes away when you turn left, the vehicle's weight shifts to the right side. As a result, the weight is reduced on the left allowing the bearing to quiet down. It is possible not to have play and one still be bad. Can you tell if it is coming from the front or rear? If you can, replace that bearing on the left side.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
