2001 Dodge Ram Wheel Cylinder Help
Brakes problem
2001 Dodge Ram V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic
I recently replaced my wheel cylinder on my back drum brake. After I changed everything and connected the brake line back I noticed that it wouldn't screw in all the way like the old one. I didn't know if this was a problem or if the new wheel cylinder was different than the old one and it was only suppose to go in 3/4 of the way. Thanks

Hi:
If it's in 3/4 of the way, tight, and not leaking, it should be fine. This a pipe thread that tapers and the new wheel cylender may be a little different.
