One day my truck, full of gas, started running like it was running out of gas. The reading for the check engin light said "System too Lean at Bank 1". Someone said it was the MAP Sensor so I changed that and it ran great for a week then the problem started again. A day later it started up fine. I changed from regular to premium gas and it ran fine again for a week and again the problem started. Now I am told it is the fuel pump. Where is the fuel pump in this truck? Is it in the gas tank. Since there are at least two different fuel pumps for this truck, I thought we should take it out first. Also, is there a fuel filter as well? Is it also in the tank? I think I should go ahead and replace that as well since we will have the tank off. Thanks for you help.
