2001 Dodge Ram all lights and indicators go dead

I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 5.2 v8. Occasionally it won't start and when it does this, all the lights and indicators go out. After a few minutes, it starts like there's nothing wrong. Seems like some sort of short or something.

Welcome to the forum, When the problem occurs, no dash lites? I'd have to check the feed to and from the ignition switch. I saw two hot feeds going to ignition switch, pink wire with black tracer and red wire, they are both hot all the time. Use a testlite on those wires, when the problem occurs, see if they are hot.
