Tried to start my truck this rainy morning and it wouldn't fire, it did sputter a little but that was all. I checked the plugs and they were gas soaked and dirty. I replaced the plugs, rotor and cap and the truck fires up like it should but it will not stay running. I can hold the gas pedal and keep the engine at 1000 rpm just above idle but as soon as I remove my foot the engine dies, almost like someone turned the ignition off. If I hold the pedal and keep the engine running below 1000 rpm it starts to choke down then idle back up, it does this a couple times and then dies. I checked all connections at the carb and under the hood and all seems to be tight. Any ideas??
