i have a 2000 dodge ram 1500 with the 5.9 360 gas engine...about a month ago my transmission messed up and wont shift out of 2...but when i got the truck home and tried to crank it up again all it would do is rotate and never start...i replaced the spark plugs, wires, rotor, distributor cap, and camshaft position sensor and i still am having the same results all it will do is turn over.oh and my fuel pump kicks on and i checked the little bleeder valve up by the injectors and fuel sprayed out so i know its getting fuel to it but it will not crank up and run at all...please help

If you have a good hot blue spark and the fuel pressure is good, it should run unless the timing is out, there is low compression, the injectors are not firing... I need you to check something. See if the engine will start with starting fluid and let me know what you find.

ok i will do that and let ya know...it just seems weird that it would go from running just fine no problems AT ALL to all of sudden jumping time or dropping compression but who knows but i will try the starting fluid...i hope i get this fixed soon now im close to 600 dollars into replaced stuff and still no luck oh and i changed the crankshaft position sensor too but that made no difference....

Let me know. I want you to try it to see if it runs on that. If it does, then I know we have a fuel problem. If it still doesn't run, then we have to look at ignition / engine problems.
