I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup that within the last month I have had to add approximately 7 quarts of oil to but do not see any leaks, it does not seem to be burning it and there is no blue smoke. I can tell when the oil gets low (if I haven't checked it recently) because if I make a sharp turn or come to abrupt stop, the oil pressure drops to zero and the check gages light comes on. AS soon as I stop or return to driving straight the light goes off and the gage returns to normal....Any ideas??
