We have a 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel pickup. Our problem is once the motor is cut off, it sometimes is hard to shift from low to second gear. Once it makes the inital shift upon starting, we no longer have a problem with the way the truck shifts or runs. But once we stop the engine, it is difficult to make that first shift and it is an intermittent problem. We just had the main computer & transmission computer scanned & no codes or problems were detected. We were told everything is running as it should. But they thought it could be one of the speed sensors on the transmission. Any thoughts.
