When you replace the spark plugs you should replace the spark plug wires at the same time. First off go to advaced auto parts or auto zone and get plugs and wires for a 98 dodge v8 4wheel drive 5.9 liter 1500. Then find a socket that fits your spark plugs in the package. Dont just pull the plug wires off, use a flat screwdriver or something to help get the old wires off. If your going to use the old wires. Only do one at a time so you dont get the wires screwed up each side will be a pain some plugs are harder than others to get out especialy the back ones.A extention for your socket is a good thing. Tighten the plugs to 30 ftpounds or half as much as you can lift, just make sure there tight, just not to tight. Remember were the wires go, mark them with tape or something. Happy hunting(post your progress)

Well shortly after I posted this I figured out where they were and I found my socket which is why I was asking how I am supposed to do it. But since I know how to do it with the socket it was no problem once I found the back ones. Thank you very much for your feed back. Although I do think I may have gotten one of the wires mixed up since I kept the old ones, how can I know for sure?
