First of al not sure what trans is in this truck I keep getting different information from different sources. This transmission will not shift properly. As u drive you can watch the engine rpms go up and the trans not shift you must lift off the gas and let the engine rpms come back down so the trans catch up and then slowly ease back on the gas much as if, you would if driving a standard shift transmission. I took the truck to a local transmission shop, and after a road test and scan from a snap-on hand held it was reported that the trans only had 20 lbs of pressure and it was suppose to be around 101lbs of presure.
So then it was recommende to replace the transmission presure sensor regulator and solinoid on the valve body, replace fluid, gasket and filter. Now the transmission is the same if not worse. Can u help me !! Is there more expensive electronics to replace , do I need to have this trans rebuilt and can I get the parts neede at a local parts house. Do i need a shift kit or torque converter for this repair. I am afraid to move the truck out of the driveway for fear of breaking down along the way or worse damage being done.
I look forward to your reply.
Thank you for your time
Sincerely,
Bill
