1996 Dodge Ram 1500

I have a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500. It will not go over 15-20 mph. And when you push on the gas it doesn't make the normal running sound it is a loud noise. Any idea on what might be wrong. Your help is greatly appreciated.

If you did the work yourself, go back through the work and look for a possible connection that didn't get reconnected or not seated properly.

Thank you we will go throught the entire process again and check for connector problems.
