the motor will slow down to almost shutting off?

when i first start it up it will run for a little bit an then the motor will slow down to almost shutting off an then i will get all this air coming out of the air cleaner then the motor will speed back up an the air will quit coming out of the air cleaner an it will run fine until i drive it for a while then it will act up again the dash lights will start flickering off an on an then it will shut right off on me an it will start right up again an run fine can u please help me with this thank you

Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked for vacuum leaks? Also, are you able to keep the engine running?

there is no check engine light on an i took it down to auto zone an there was no codes if i push down on the gas it will stay running

Chances are there is a vacuum leak. I say that because there is no check engine light on. It could be a bad throttle position sensor or idle air control valve, but they usually set a check engine light.

Check for that and let me know what you find.

hi again when i drive down the road a little ways the abs an the brake light comes on the dash some times it goes off when i am driving but i park an shut it off the lights go out an i can start it back up an the light wont be on antil i drive a little ways an it come back on how do i reset my computer in my truck
