I bought this truck used in September 2007. At the time it had 68000 miles. My problem is, that it takes multiple tries to start the truck. The battery is brand new and the fuel pump and starter are good and strong, but it stills struggles. Another weird thing about it is that when it is cold outside (20 to 50 degrees) it will mostly start on the first try but when it is warmer out it will sometimes take about 6 tries to get it going. After the engine is warmed up I can turn it off and turn it right back on again after a minute or so and it will start right back up, but if it sits for about 10 minutes, the problem will occure again.
One day I am going to burn up the starter, and I am prepared to buy a whole new ignition sytem for it unless someone can help narrow the problem down to one thing

You need to have the computer scanned for codes and also have the coolant temp sensor checked for accuracy. Also a quick check, remove coil wire from the coil and see if it is corroded, (very common)
