03 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7

I got a 03 Dodge Ram from a friend. The truck never started, the orginal engine was seized up so I got a replacement and swaped it out. I changed the wire harness as a pre-caution. The engine would crank but will not start.I changed cam and crank sensors same results. Got a scan with a OTC scanner done and it does not detect any crank signal or rpm. If a wrench is passed
over the crank sensor the ASD relay would click. Any suggestions would be welcomed

Go back and compare the wiring harnesses, they must be exactly the same or you might be missing an input for the PCM. Did you use the correct flexplate (flywheel)?

Wiring harness is the same, check them side by side for differences. The flex plate you refer to is the 16 or 32 teeth flex plate?
Would that give no crank response or erratic response?
Could you interchange the 16 or 32 teeth plate?

I was referring to the flexplate due to the fact the crank sensor reads it as it goes by and some of the older ones might not have the same flexplate in them. I would use the exact same one
