1987 Dodge Other Repair Question

87 Dodge B350 460 engine code W High CO reading at High RPM
Live in PA emission is done with probe in tail pipe no dyno. With engine at idle all readings well below passing levels. When at high RPM (2500) all readings good except CO it is almost 2.5 times the acceptical levels. What could be the problem.
