2002 Other Dodge Models ENGINE light is lit on dashboard
If the engine light is on - could that mean it just needs an oil change? Not real sure.

Hi:
the check engine lught indicates a problem has been identified and stored in the computer. Take the car to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer for codes. Most stores will do it for free and it will identify why the light is on.
