1999 Other Dodge Models Rust in coolant

I want to buy a used Dodge Ram Van and it seems to be a good deal, but the coolant is a dark rust color with no green coolant color. Is this a big problem, can it be fixed?

Hi:
Chances are the system just needs flushed and refilled with the correct type of coolant. I would check around the heads to check and see if there are any obvesious leaks.
