We recently purchased a 1978 chinook concourse motorhome. It keeps cutting out and you need to keep giving it gas to keep it running. As soon as you take your foot of the gas it quits running.
Hi,I asked this question on Aug.2and still have not received a reply.

I would check to see if the fuel filter is plugged or the fuel pressure on the fuel pump. If this is a class a motor home alot of them were notorius for having fuel tanks that were left out and got rusty inside. It kind of sounds as if it's a fuel problem. Also if your fuel lines going to the fuel pump are soft replace them as they could suck together from the fuel pum trying to get fuel.
