1998 Dodge Omni 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 110000 miles
jsut replaced a head gasket on my 1988 dodge omni and know when i put it in gear it kills the motor. I was told it could be a sensor that tells the torque converter to lock up and that is what kills the motor but i dont know.

When you put it in gear, does the car surge forward and die, or does it just die on its own?
