2005 Dodge Neon Front Wheel Drive Automatic 104000 miles

I have a 2005 Dodge Neon. Shortly after I got it almost 2 years ago when it started warming up outside the car didn't seem like it wanted to start. I thought maybe the car was vaporing locking. When the weather really cold or really hot seem to be when I have the most trouble starting it. Most of the time though I need to give it gas when starting it and I shouldn't have to give it any. I replaced a sensor in it plus recently I put in new spark plugs. Trying to figure out what else it could be before putting hundreds in to it.

We need to verify if we are missing fuel or spark.

I'm pretty sure there's spark. When the car is running it's not missing!

Check one or two of the plugs and see if they have a heavy fuel smell
