When I press on the gas pedal the engine makes a knocking noise. I have already had the motor mounts replaced on it and it is still make the noise. Only when I press on the gas.

Maybe you have some type of internal engine damage?

Pull the heads and oil pan, see if you see anything. Turn the crank by hand, see if you feel or hear anything. Shake the piston rods, see if any metal in the pan.
