1999 Dodge Neon car will not go into gear

Just put in different motor in my 1999 Dodge Neon and now it doesn't want to go into gear. The linkage is ok. Do you have any suggestion. Could the front pump be my problem. Fluid is good.

Is it stuck in park or you put it in drive and it don’t move
if stuck in drive check the brake light switch
if no drive check your work again check the axles and check the torque converter and bolts
