1998 Dodge Neon Battery Problem

Recently I went to start my car and was completly dead other then my inside light would flicker. I jump started it and it ran for a little bit then my battery light came on and my headlights would flicker. I made it home but when I jumped it again it did the same thing as before I left it running and the light came on. When I shut it off and try to turn it back on it dosent turn over.
Any idea on what it could be? New battery?

There is there possibilities

1. Dead battery
2. Alternator.
3. If it is a dead battery. What caused it to go dead? Something might be pulling power causing the battery to go dead..

If I were you I's take the Alternator and the battery out of the vehicle and take it to somewhere like Auto Zone or Advance Auto parts. They can test both and tell you if it's good or bad..
