I have a 1997 Dodge Intrepid 3.5 and the Check Engine light keeps coming on and off. I took it to an auto part store that did a diagnostic on it. It came out with the following codes: P0160 - 02 sensor check no activity & P0137 02 sensor circuit low volts. The guy told me I needed to replace my 02 sensor. Where is that located in my car? Will that help my car from turning off every once in a while?

Several O2 sensors on it. You should have 1 sensor in each ex manifold, then 1 sensor in each pipe behind the cat converter.

The shutting down could be several sources. You'll need to check the codes on it. Mine did the dieing thing until I figured out about the capacitor that Chrysler put in the wire harness ahead of the coil pack. It will give you a code for voltage loss when peak dwell is required.

Chrysler says that you have to buy the engine harness to repair it. I simply got a condenser from an old point type ign and soldered it in place of the capacitor. The car has been running without a problem since.
