Car shuts down when running AC

We have a 1995 intrepid, with the small v-6 motor, each sumer when we star running the ac, car will run fine for a little while then going down the road, just dies, sometine will start back up in a hour or so, and runs fine if ya don't run ac, this is second year, showing no codes, please help, i'm 5 months expecting, and really need the ac, any help please, brandy
