2004 Dodge Intrepid water pump

I was told today that I have a drip coming from my water pump. About how long will it last on avg.? Should I try a stop leak? What do you suggest?

Noway to tell how long it will last before it pours out. Stop Leak won't help with an impeler seal. If 3.5L the timing belt runs water pump and if pump bearing goes it will take out belt and your engine is interference engine. Means valves get hit by pistons and big repair bill.
