My car was replace a new starter about 8 months ago. Never had any problem starting till now. Its realy cold here in chicago, so i don't know if it has anything to do with the coldnest of our weather here.

Everytime I try to get it started early in the morning or in the afternoon to worm it up before I live to my destination, it seems like the car has some issue of starting. I crank the ignition couple times and it doesn't seems to start. All I can hear is just a click sound (click, click, click, click) then I keep trying turning the ignition and then it starts.

Another way for me to describe this issue is that When I tried to start it for the first time, it doesn't seems to turn the motor, just a click sound. It seems like it's getting worst everyday.

It's my only one source of vehicle to get me to work and I need it to resolve this problem as soon as possible, please help. Thanks.

Hello sebastian_personal

Low battery (Check battery voltage, recharge if low, or jump start with another vehicle or battery charger), or a
loose or corroded battery cables (Inspect, clean and tighten BOTH ends of BOTH battery cables).
Bad starter relay wiring connections or ground connection (Inspect, clean, tighten wiring connections).
Bad starter (Jump battery voltage direct to starter to see if it spins, or remove starter and have it bench tested at auto parts store).

Happy new year.
