1997 Dodge Intrepid Repair Question

1997 Dodge Intrepid tire rod bots
I have a 1997 dodge intrepid. The tire rods bolts broke in a piece and i need to know what that peice is. I look like a pole but i don't know if it is the rake or not. So the question is what are the tire rods bolted to.

Start at the rack, you have the inner tie rod, the outter tie rod, and the outer attaches to the knuckle...Did it break at the inner end? That would be the inner tie rod, needs to be changed, check both sides!
