1996 Dodge Intrepid my car has a Rough Idle

Engine Performance problem
1996 Dodge Intrepid 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have changed the coil pack,& spark plugs, and it drove fine for about a day or so. It shakes real bad and has loss of power. When I am at idle the car really shakes and acts like it is going to stall. Auto Zone said I might have a vacuum leak. where would I look? They also said I needed to check a MAP sensor. what is that? This is my only transportation and I know very little about cars If you can help please give me your advise.
Thank you,
Mustang Girl.

Hi:
A MAP sensor is a Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor. Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked to make sure the catylatic converter isn't plugged? Also, a vacuum leak could cause this like they said. Check around the intake manifold for broken, disconnected or damaged hoses. Have you checked fuel pump pressure?

Let me know what you find.
