1995 Dodge Intrepid V8 160000 miles

My car cut off on me about 2 weeks ago while driving and wouldn't start back up. So I got it towed home, I had 2 mechanics tell me that it's my fuel pump but when I made arrangments to have it fixed at Mr. Tire they told me they didnt think it was the pump. So can u please help me or at least tell me what u think it could be?

Hi:
The only way to know for sure is to have the fuel pressure tested. Did the two mechanics that told you it was the pump check it or were they just guessing?
