1993 Dodge Dynasty HEAD LIGHT SWITCH IS OVER HEATING IN TH

Electrical problem
1993 Dodge Dynasty 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 203761 miles

HOW DO I TROUBLE SHOOT TO FIND THE SOURCE

THATS CAUSING THE HEAD LIGHT DASH SWITCH TO OVER HEAT ?

THE FEMALE SOCKET PART SHOWS SIGNS OF MELTING AROUND THE CONTACTS BUT HAS NOT TOTALY MELTED THE CONTACT CONECTORS "YET".

THERE SEEMS TO BE A POSSIBLE SHORT SOME WHERE IN THE WIRING HARNESS . OR A FAULTY PART?

I would think the switch itself is worn out. If there was a short, I would think it would blow a fuse.
