I have a 2000 dodge durango that has had transmission problems since i bought it and it has been in the shop 7 times and everytime it's supposed to be fixed it always has the same problem, whenever im driving my vehicle it doesnt change gears smoothly instead it feels like it jumps into gear when i give it gas(this is after the rpms get high and the engine sounds like it's reving way to high),the shifter on the column doesnt add up with the actual gear it is in,there is a funny smell, not a burning smell just a weird smell that comes in through my ac vents and when im goin over 50 miles and hour on the interstate every once in awhile it feels like it takes forever for it to change gears or it feels like it jumps in and out of gear,no matter what speed im goin the transmission never smoothly shifts it always jumps or jerks into gear. The shop says first they rebuilt it and then after numours times of me complaining they say the replaced it but still it isnt working right. What can i do ?
