OVERHEATING

1999 Dodge Durango

Engine problem
1999 Dodge Durango V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 76093 miles

Last year my wife overheated and blew a head gasket since then I have rebuilt the top end changed water pump, clutch fan. Radiator, cap, and several thermostats. The Durango will set at idle with the heater on indefinatly and run at normal temp.(About 195 F) After driving for a while it still runs normal getting up to 200 or so and then dropping back down. Then the temps rises to almost overheating about 250 and runs hot. The temp. Will drop a little but always rises again. After shutting down the vehicle you can see evidence where it overflowed the resivoure. After cooling down and replacing the water/anti-freeze it will still run indefinatly at idle at normal temp but dose the same senario after driving a little bit.
