1998 Dodge Durango Will not start

Changed starter, and truck will not start turns over but thats it. Gas gauge says empty but it has a full tank.

Check for spark
also check for codes
turn key on do you have check engine light on
you should
crank engine does check engine light go out
if not suspect bad crank sensor
always check fuses and relays
