1984 Dodge Diplomat IGNITION

WHILE CLEANING THE CONTACTS ON THE PLUGS THAT GO INTO THE AIR CLEANER I ACCIDENTALLY ARCED 2 OF THE WIRES..THIS CAUSED A SNAP HISS ST THE CONNECTION FOR THE BATTERY JUST PRIOR TO THE RELAY CONTACT ON THE UPPER FIRE WALL..I REPAIRED THE CONNECTION AND PLUGGED THE UNIT BACK IN BUT NOW THE CAR WILL NOT FIRE..THE CAR WILL TURN OVER BUT WILL NOT FIRE..THE CAR WAS RUNNING FINE 5 MIN BEFORE THIS HAPPENED...IS THERE A WAY TO BYPASS THE COMPUTER ON THE AIR CLEANER AND FIRE THE CAR?
