1997 Dodge Dakota stalls out
Engine Mechanical problem
1997 Dodge Dakota V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 197000 miles
when i start the vehicle, it runs fine in idel. When i shift into reverse or drive the idel drops and the engine dies. If i go into nuetral then i can gas it and it stays on. after it warms up it stops stalling. i found the map sensor vac line cracked and replaced it and it's faster to warm but i'm having the same problem. I don't get a check engine light at all. after it has started to die, then it will not idel in park until it gets warmed up

Hi:
I feel there are more vacuum leaks. Have you checked the entire engien compartment?
