1996 Dodge Daytona 1996 V8 5.2 Dakota engine wont idle at a
Engine Performance problem
1996 Dodge Daytona Two Wheel Drive Automatic 142121 miles
Hello Guys I have a 1996 V8 5.2 Dakota engine wont idle at all have to keep foot on gas till warms some (When you take your foot off the gas either dies or engine goes up and down sound like engine loading up when you shove the gas pedal down sound like the engine cleans up run ok.
check the codes had a PO138 says down steam o2 sensor short to voltage .check all the wire on the harness and found one bar wire fix it and found a broken vacuum line replaced that still does the same thing .
put new idle motor on did n`t help also check my scanner on the TPS with foot off gas pedal shows 13.7% when on the floor shows 75.6% that wright ? thanks for any help
