2002 Dakota, V8, 4x4, 66,000 mi. Airconditioning/Heater work fine in full blast mode, but at any other setting, the air is not flowing at all. The amber A/C push button light also goes out when dial is selected out of full blast mode. What could be causing this?

-Thanks-

We had this problem twice already.
It was a burnt out resistor associated with the heater fan switch. The fan speed default is full blast. The resistor limits the electricity flow to the fan to allow lower speeds. When the resistor fails, the fan will
only run full speed.
