Coolant leak

Engine Cooling problem
1999 Dodge Dakota 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 64000 miles

I drove to the store today (5min) parked and went inside made purchase and returned to find my truck leaking coolant. I have already replaced radiator and noticed no issues with any hoses assoicaed with coolant system. Upon further inspection I found that the leak was coming from front of engine near water pump however hissing sound was comming from treaded hoses that look to be assoicated with either heater or AC running up from water pump across engine and back into firewall. I would like to know if this sounds like a water pump or gasket issue or a if this could be assoicated with the aforementioned hoses. Leak seems pretty severe as most of coolant has drained out of reserve covering front of engine where all belts are located. Mist continues once car is shut off but no issues while running.
