I HAVE A 99 DODGE DAKOTA, V8 WITH 75,000 MILES. I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE IN JANUARY 2008 SHORTLY AFTER GETTING THE VEHICLE THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. WE REPLACED ONE FUEL INJECTOR. THE LIGHT CONTINUED TO COME ON WITH THE SAME CODE. THEN, ONCE IT STARTED TO WARM UP IN THE MORNING THE CHECKK ENGINE LIGHT STOPPED COMING ON. IT HAS BEEN OFF ALL SUMMER! THEN TODAY WAS OUR FIRST COOLER MORNING & OF COURSE THE DARN LIGHT CAME BACK ON! WHAT COULD BE CAUSING THIS???
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP :)
