I have a wine in the rear end at about 10 mph and gets louder the faster I go, Ive checked the gear oil in the diff and is ok. (Not the tires) I've jacked it up so the rear tires are off the ground and put it in gear and it still wines. Has 139,000 miles, magv6 fuel injection

SOUNDS LIKE POSS. CARRIER BEARINGS PITTED, JACK IT UP AGAIN IN DRIVE, HOLD A SCREWDRIVER TO YOUR EAR TO WHERE THE AXLE TUBES COME OUT OF THE DIFFERENTIAL, SEE IF NOISE IS LOUD, IF A ROARING NOISE IS HEARD, INSPECT CARRIER BEARINGS.
