Hi there, i am currently replacing the heater core in my 97 dodge dakota.
I have an aftermarket heater core that is slighty thicker then the older one. Thus i have two options
Either suck it up and pay the $382 heater core directly from dodge or break off the little tabe in the heater box and fit it in.
Just wondering if you guys have had any reviews as to whether it still works as good, does it make noise after breaking that little tab off?
