1989 Dodge Dakota PCV valve has no suction.

I have checked the lines coming from my pcv valve to my manifold and to the line conected to my vacuum hose. All had gunk in them at hte T splitting off at hte manifold I cleaned them adn replaced thevalve itself but I still dont have suction. What could be hte problem?

With lines removed your expecting vaccum? Can you get a picture of your setup?

The valve should just be sitting there venting the gases out and till it gets burned. Should be no vaccum at pcv with line taken off.
