i have a 92 dodge colt if left sitting for more than two hours it wont start until I plug in the block for about an hour a boost won't help either I have asked people but they haven't got a clue. Can someone help me

Load test battery first. Replace or charge
slowly. Slow charge is best. Trickle charge is even better.
After the battery is known to be good and passes a load test, check the terminal ends and inside of cables, the thick red and black wires. Then you must test for any ignition key off power drain. It seems like a lot but it is not. With that tested you can test the starting system.
Starter, relays, ign. Key, etc. Ok There is no guesswork, most of the time.
