OK, I realize I've made a enormous mistake. I didn't change the oil often enough in the car, and the oil level dropped very low and began to "knock". Hence I discovered the low oil. However, the oil light never came on.

This is a company car and thus, sense didn't follow the maintence rules, I fear I have a big problem.

Question: if I take it to a dealer will they waaranty repair this auto?

If not, what can I do to salvage the engine?

It has not frozze up, just kocking and I stopped driving it.
