I have a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan with a 3.8 V6. I have had a problem removing the PCV valve from it's plastic housing on the valve cover. The PCV valve has a rubber grommet attached to it and I cannot pull it out of the housing. The valve cover is toward the back under the cowl and I cannot get any leverage to pull up on the valve. I am afraid of damaging the plastic housing by pulling and twisting too hard. I have tried to lubricate the rubber grommet with silicone spray, but it will not come free.
Is there a trick to get this PCV out?
