2003 Dodge Caravan wet leak

I have recently discovered the carpet and padding soaking wet on passenger side of vehicle. I assumed the drain tube was clogged so I ran a wire up a short rubber hose on firewall side. It seemed to go the length of the hose 4-5 inches and stopped. Sometimes when you first crank the car you can hear a swishing water sound in the dash area. I think there may be some other problem than just a clog. Any suggestions? Skip
