Before I purchase a 2003 Dodge Van, I thought it would be good to have it checked out my local repair shop. The automatic climate control works fine except the compressor will not engage.
They said the compressor worked and the system was fully charged. They were able to engage it manually through their test equipment, however
they thought it was an electrical problem in the computor and told me to take it to an electrical digagnostic shop or the dealer.
I called the sales man and he said the outside temperature is too cold outside for the air conditioner to run.
I told him it was inside the repair garage when tested and it still would not work.
I like the van, but am not sure if the air conditioner
is good or not.
