Brakes problem
2003 Dodge Caravan Automatic

Is there anything special I need to know about changing the pads and rotors on this vehicle with ABS brakes? I am fairly knowledgeable about working on cars and have changed many pads and rotors, but none with ABS.

Thank you.

Best way is to open the bleeder then push the piston back with a big screwdriver, let some fluid drip out, close the bleeder, DO NOT let your master cylinder run dry, use DOT 3 fluid only! Do it this way and any sludge in the system will stay put and the pump and other ABS parts won't be damaged.
