i am presently trying to jack up the van, but do not know where to place the jack or stands. and, no, i can't afford to take it to the mechanic. so, i figure that now is a good times as ever to learn more about my van than just how to put gas in and start and drive. please help. i am immobile without this van, in dyer need of help. thank you for anything you can help me with, i'm in oceanside ,ca....If i can get a helpful answer i will definitely be donating. cause i want to be able to do it myself. so in other words i'm sorry but i cannot even afford new shoes for my kids. SORRY!!!

Hi:
First there are specific points under the vehicle to lift it. In the rear, you will find hoist pads near the front of the leaf springs. In the front, behind the front wheels you should find the same. If you check where your spare tire is located and find the factory jack, usually it will provide the info you need.

What is wrong with the car? Also, make sure before you get under the van to make sure you have it safely lifted and secure before getting under it.
